Fundamentals of Geogrids and Their Use for Subgrade Stabilization

We’re going back to basics, but adding in new developments. It’s been a few years since we covered the fundamentals of geogrids for stabilization, and during that time our knowledge base has grown substantially. We've also introduced several new tools, methods, and products that will enhance design capabilities 

In this session, we will: 

• Introduce geogrids used for soil stabilization applications and their performance mechanisms and benefits for construction
• Discuss fundamental concepts of Subgrade Stabilization using geogrids, other geosynthetics, and conventional methods
• Give guidance for design and a discussion of performance and specification criteria
