Jaye Elsey

Jaye grew up playing on rolls of geosynthetics at his father's construction supply yard in Walled Lake, Michigan, and digging holes in his backyard for fun. Since then, he has combined those two activities into gainful employment as the Area Engineer for Tensar's Great Lakes West region.

Prior to his tenure at Tensar, Jaye worked as a consultant engineer at an underground engineering firm specializing in sewer rehabilitation, trenchless construction methods, and ground improvement.

Jaye has a Bachelor's Degree and Masters of Science in Civil Engineering, and he holds multiple Professional Engineering licenses in states throughout the territory he serves. When he isn't helping engineers in his area design with geosynthetics, he likes to spend quality time with his dogs and make functional items on the pottery wheel and in the glass-blowing studio.
