John Gatses

John Gatses is a Regional Sales Manager at Tensar covering Illinois. John holds a BA in Architecture and an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Prior to joining CMC, John has been a civil engineering consultant for the past 20 years with professional experience in infrastructure projects, including roadway and bridge design, above & below water structural inspections of bridges and waterfront facilities, and construction management from small residential projects to large scale heavy highway projects.

John resides in the western suburbs of Chicago and enjoys spending time with his wife of 20 years, 16-year-old son, and 14-year-old twins (boy/girl). As an outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys golfing, hunting, and snowboarding, in addition to coaching the high school lacrosse team for his sons.
